Infants/Young Toddlers
Our Baby Room cares for children beginning at six weeks of age, and provides children with a loving environment in which to grow and learn. We believe that children grow at their own pace, and encourage growth and development with enthusiasm at each developmental milestone reached. Children in this room are stimulated with a multitude of age-appropriate activities, and are spoken to throughout the day to encourage development of language. As children reach toddlerhood, they are enriched with age-appropriate art and sensory projects daily, interacting with older children during gross motor play while staying in the comfort of a familiar environment for lunch and rest.
We believe that children in the baby room should feel loved, safe, and welcomed when they come to school each day. Similarly, we believe that parents and teachers should work as a team to ensure that a child's developmental plan is followed through. Children's days are recorded on a classroom whiteboard so parents can see exactly how their child's day has been, and teachers in this classroom are always available through cell phone or text message to check in or share a sweet story about the children.
